Dog children come to us in many different ways, and in this story it seems the Dog Distribution System brought this hooman and doggo together via the fraternal network of office workers. A curious case indeed.

Sometimes, in fact many times, the Doggo Distribution System likes to play the long game. Putting one thing into motion in order to make something else move later on down the line. And it seems that this was what it was doing when it brought a hooman forth to save a poor pupper who had been involved in a traffic accident. Now, you might have thought, 'oh how wholesome, this heroic hooman must be the pupper's new pawrent.'.

But no, the DDS had different plans for this pupper as this hooman was unable to continue caring for a cute canine in need of medical treatment. And that is when they brought the puppy into their office. And in that office there was a hooman who had been waiting for the opportunity to fall in love with a doggo and change their life. Oh the mysterious ways in which the DDS does its work.

Oh goodness, how could a whole office of people pass up the opportunity to save such a small and sweet puppy’s life? Even if it were just to chip in a few bucks to support her medical expenses. Surely your heart and wallet would open up after laying eyes on such a canine cutie? Thankfully, the disinterest in this doggo is about to come to a close and things are about to take a turn for the incredible thanks to the kind and caring hooman who has just laid eyes upon their doggo-to-be.

Yeah, we rather scoffed at the notion that this hooman could return to working as though nothing had happened. Like, come on, who would be able to contain their excitement and carry on with their day job, all the while knowing that you have a pawdorable puppy waiting for you in your car?! Both this person and their boss should have immediately realized that work was no longer on the table for that day and moved on with their lives. At least that way they could have avoided a couple of distracting hours that must have been agonizing for the new pupper pawrent.
